The idea for TimberKin started in a small workshop in Smithfield, Virginia, where the scent of sawdust and the quiet focus of hand-carving were part of our daily rhythm. We noticed that in a world moving faster every day, the things that truly matter the quiet hugs, the shared names, the way a family "fits" together often go uncelebrated.

We wanted to create something you could hold. Something that felt as solid and enduring as your own home.
